+1 Katana Evolution Rebirth Build

Take the x2 when reclaiming the pad is cheap, stack toward x5, and keep every blade you already bought.

Rebirth Build

The rebirth build is the loadout you switch to after wooden katana and Stage 2 are no longer the puzzle. +1 Katana Evolution pays for rebirth in damage multipliers: about x2 after the first press, about x5 after three. You keep katanas. That is the rule people miss, and it is why this build does not tell you to sell the wooden blade before you click the button.

If the button is still a mystery, finish the early game build first. If you need the mechanic rather than the loadout, read rebirth and use the rebirth planner for the breakpoint math. This page is what to hold, what to press, and which pass is actually part of the stack.

The stack, not the screenshot

A rebirth loadout has the same four pieces as any other build, with different weights.

  • Katana. Keep what you have. Buy the next model only when the live gate still outruns the multiplied blade. Wooden plus x2 often clears content that wooden alone could not. Fire-inscribed belongs when Stage 3’s ~5,000 is the printed wall. Purple lightning belongs when Stage 5’s 30,444 is the wall. Rank models on the katana list after the multiplier, not before it.
  • Pet. Rebirth does not magically fix a worse hatch. Compare again after the press. Secret remains ~0.20 percent and is not a rebirth requirement. See pets.
  • Rebirth count. First press ~x2. Third press ~x5. In between, only press when you can reclaim the current pad quickly. If reclaiming Stage 2 would take the rest of the evening, you are still in the early-game hold.
  • Pass. x2 damage or x2 Wins can be a real piece of this build because they stack with the rebirth multiplier you are farming on purpose. Cosmetic starter packs still are not. They do not keep katanas. They do not print x5. They reskin the gi.

When to take the first x2

Take it when all of this is true:

  1. Wooden is equipped (or better).
  2. Stage 2’s ~300 recommended damage is farmable by hand.
  3. You can picture getting back to that pad in a short loop after the press.
  4. You are not mid-hatch-tilt and you are not one swing from a ready evolution bar you were about to cash.

If item 3 is false, farm more Wins. The button is not a lootbox. It is a reset you survive because blades persist. Players who treat it like a prestige that deletes the run wait too long. Players who treat it like a skip button press it on bamboo and then wonder why Stage 2 still says 300.

After the first x2, go straight back to a pad. Do not open the shop to celebrate. The build is correct if the same wooden katana now feels like an A pick on a gate that used to bounce you.

How to live on the way to x5

Three rebirths is the published-feel breakpoint, not a quest log. You will not get a banner that says x5 in a patch note — as of September 2026 there are no public numbered notes. You will feel the HUD damage jump enough that Stage 3’s ~5,000 is a plan instead of a wall.

Between rebirth one and rebirth three:

  • Spend Wins on the blade that matches the new gate, not on a thumbnail flex.
  • Cash purple-bar fills when they complete. Do not delay rebirth two because the red aura is not done. Outfit timing is ranked on the evolution list. The multiplier is ranked here.
  • If you use auto-rebirth, set it to the same reclaim rule a human would use. A script that fires the button the instant it lights can dump you below the pad you were farming. Auto-farm has the same problem if it never walks to a win pad.
  • Codes do not replace this stack. RELEASE and COOKED front-load Wins and damage on a new file. They do not count as rebirths. Claim them on the codes hub if you have not, then come back to the button.

Passes that belong in this build

Buy a multiplier pass only after you have taken at least one manual rebirth, so you know what x2 feels like without Robux. Then:

  • x2 damage is the pass that most clearly belongs, because every pad in the game is a damage gate.
  • x2 Wins belongs if your bottleneck is the wooden-to-next-blade shop, not the swing itself.
  • Starter cosmetic packs do not belong. If the pack’s pitch is a reskinned bamboo, a toy pet, or an outfit that looks like a later evolution, it is a shop, not a loadout. Spend that Robux on nothing, or on the damage pass, or on eggs only if you already accept pet RNG.

Free-to-play is enough to finish this build. The game is free, released 11 June 2026, and still updating. A pass is an accelerator. It is not the x5.

After x5 — stop calling it a rebirth problem

Once three rebirths are in, failures are usually a blade mismatch or a pet downgrade. Stage 5 still lists 30,444. If you cannot stand on that pad, look at purple lightning or at whether you equipped a worse hatch, not at rebirth four as a personality. Extra rebirths remain good when reclaim is cheap. They are not a fourth loadout piece with a new name.

Keep using the planner when the HUD number and the pad disagree. Keep using this page when you are tempted to sit on a ready button for a screenshot. The rebirth build is the stack that keeps every katana you already paid for and spends the multiplier on the next printed gate, not on a starter pack that never should have been in the loadout.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Do I lose katanas when I rebirth?

No. Rebirth keeps katanas. That is why the first x2 is safe once you can reclaim Stage 2. Read rebirth if you want the mechanic, and stay here for the loadout.

How much damage is one rebirth versus three?

About x2 after one, about x5 after three. There is no public numbered patch that prints those as official IDs. They are the breakpoints this build plays around. The rebirth planner walks through when to press.

Should I buy the x2 damage pass before my first rebirth?

Better after one manual rebirth, so you know what the button already does. Cosmetic starter packs are still skippable. Multiplier passes are the only shop piece this build respects.

Can I auto-rebirth through the stack?

Only if the script uses the same reclaim rule. Auto-rebirth that fires instantly can drop you below a farmable pad. Learn the early game hold first.

What katana should I hold for the x5 push?

The one that matches the live gate after the multiplier. Wooden plus x2 is often enough for Stage 2. Fire-inscribed or a stretched wooden blade is the Stage 3 ~5,000 conversation. Purple lightning is the Stage 5 30,444 conversation. See katanas.

Should I finish an evolution before I rebirth?

Cash a bar that is already complete. Do not stall a ready x2 for a red-aura screenshot. Outfit timing is on the evolution tier list.
